Los Angeles Valley College – Media & Performing Arts Center

The Los Angeles Valley College’s Media & Performing Arts Center project consisted of:

  • 110,867 sq. ft. Cross-disciplinary complement of studios, classrooms, rehearsal spaces, production facilities and faculty offices, including:
    • Broadcasting (radio and television).
    • Cinema (mixing recording, digital post-production)
    • Journalism, including photography
    • Art Department
    • Music Department
    • Institute for Entertainment Arts & Studies
    • Performing Arts
  • Four primary theater stages:
    • Mainstage Theatre (450 seats)
    • Horseshoe Theatre (150 seats)
    • Lab Theatre (50-70 seats)
    • Screening Theatre (250 seats)


Project Highlights:

  • LEED Silver Certification
  • Project in design phase as of Fall 2010. To be submitted to the California DSA.
