Los Angeles Harbor College – Tech & Classroom Building

The Technology and Classroom Building, Northeast Academic Center, Student Services Building project consisted of:

  • $15.9 million Student Services and Administration building providing students with 38,746 sq. ft. of administrative and student-related services, including admissions, records and transcripts
  • Building also helps set the tone for the college as the first building current and prospective students visit to get information about Harbor College

Project Highlights:

  • Attendance at weekly RPM meetings for updates on projects, procedures, policies experience/challenges to improve overall effort
  • Relocation move management worked with the CPM team, architects and building user group to obtain FF&E requirements, generate lists and discuss strategies for procurement
  • Identified and resolved critical tasks and issues that affected the FF&E deliveryand move schedule; prepared task order bids and hosted job walks for bidding of moving services to district-approved vendors
  • Created move schedules for each project; oversaw set-up and delivery of FF&E and managed move-in day efforts
  • Coordinated with asset manager and facility manager for asset tagging, disposition, and donation requirements
