One of Beezley’s project coordinators, Adriano Salucci’s family is Italian and have recently purchased a villa in the northeastern region of Tuscany in Fivizzanno in a small town called Arlia. The villa is situated on approximately 1-hectare or 2.47 acres of land that includes a total of 11 rooms, 3 floors, 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. There are about 6 months worth of renovations/upgrades which include, restoration/reinforcement of existing walls, windows and doors, resurfacing of floors and roofing, electrical rewiring as well as conversion of a barn in to a family room. Attached are some pictures and a description of the property for all to see.

At the time Adriano’s parents bought the house, he shared the news with Jonathan and Nadine who immediately became interested in finding a way for Beezley to assist. After some thought, it was decided that we would send Adriano to Italy to help his family with the renovations and in turn the Beezley team would have a chance to watch, and help, by linking a day-by-day journal of the project on Beezley “peeps” and encouraging a flow of communication from Adriano to our team members to comment and lend feedback with the project — sort of a company project if you will via webcam and remote technologies.   As a result of the 9 hour time difference, with Tuscany being ahead, we envision that Adriano and his father would post information or ask questions of our team at the end of their days and we will be able to answer them and feed them replies so that they will be waiting for them upon the start of their next day.  Pretty cool.

The first month of renovations got off to a rough start with minor budget disputes with the contractor but has been settled and has since picked up. The first phase of renovations has begun and we want to share with you some of the highlights so far….
